Community Bank Invests in Tripwire® VIA for Log Management, Compliance and Automation
Portland, OR - Dec 14, 2011 - With compliance and security of utmost urgency, banks are seeking ways to gain visibility over IT infrastructure that will enable them to protect and manage data while meeting Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council(FFIEC) regulations. Today, Tripwire, a leading global provider of IT security and compliance automation solutions, announced that Community Bank, a state-charted, 11-branch financial institution based in southwestern Pennsylvania, has adopted Tripwire VIA™as a comprehensive solution for advanced change and configuration management, file integrity monitoring, log management and continuous compliance.
Community Bank first sought a log monitoring tool that would help them compile and automate large amounts of data. However, compliance regulators suggested a more robust solution, one that provided change and configuration management capabilities that would also help streamline the compliance process and harden security.
