Tripwire Launches New Channel-Centric Distribution Strategy to Drive Growth in EMEA Region

Tripwire invites a limited number of preferred resellers to join the Tripwire OverDrive Partner Program as the channel becomes its primary route to market in EMEA

London - 08-Jun-2011 -

Tripwire, Inc. a global leader in IT Security and Compliance Automation solutions, today announces its new channel-centric distribution strategy for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The Tripwire OverDrive Partner Program forms a key element of Tripwire’s growth strategy across EMEA and includes substantial benefits and rewards for partners who are able to demonstrate commitment, investment and sustained achievement in selling Tripwire solutions.

In the UK and Ireland, Tripwire recently completed the selection and accreditation of eight preferred resellers specifically chosen because of their vertical industry expertise and geographic coverage.  The resellers will be supported by a single in-country distributor, Computerlinks. The Tripwire OverDrive Partner Program delivers a number of benefits to preferred partners including:

  • Attractive margins to accelerate partners’ businesses
  • Sales and marketing programmes to ensure rapid market expansion
  • Training and certification to assure customers experience a high level of technical expertise and business knowledge

Commenting on the launch of the Tripwire OverDrive Partner Program, Mark Bradley, VP of EMEA, Tripwire, says, “Our channel partners are absolutely critical to our growth strategy and are fast becoming our primary route to market in EMEA. We have carefully selected partners who have a real depth of security and compliance solution knowledge, and a proven track record within the market. For partners that clearly demonstrate ongoing commitment and investment in selling Tripwire solutions we can offer a compelling business proposition based on excellent margins, sales and marketing support and ongoing training and certification.”

Nick Garlick, Managing Director of UK reseller, Nebulas Solutions, a security, acceleration and virtualisation specialist, says, “We are delighted to be joining the Tripwire OverDrive Partner Program and we are very impressed with the level of commitment that Tripwire has made to the channel. The rapid rise of attacks on sensitive data in the UK today demands companies have an effective IT security and compliance strategy in place. Tripwire offers new levels of security intelligence and automation that enables Nebulas to deliver market-leading solutions to our customers to ensure they are able to safeguard sensitive data and prove compliance.”

Alastair Broom, Solutions Director of Integralis, a leading provider of IT security solutions in the UK, says, “Our reputation for providing organisations with trusted, reliable advice is built upon our insightful knowledge of proven technologies, which we develop from long-term partnerships with companies such as Tripwire.
