Specifications

Tripwire Enterprise Console is the core component (engine) of our Tripwire Enterprise product. It gives you a single point of configuration audit and control, providing a trusted and verifiable audit trail for all changes occurring across the IT infrastructure - including multi-vendor file systems, desktops, directory services, databases and network devices.

Tripwire Enterprise Console functions as your dashboard and report center. It analyzes and archives data collected by Tripwire Enterprise components and enables you to:

  • Assess configuration settings against industry standard benchmarks such as CIS (Center for Internet Security), PCI (Payment Card Industry) and SOX
  • Monitor changes to virtual environments, applications, databases, middleware, directory services, file systems, and network devices
  • Choose between real-time monitoring for critical systems, and scheduled scan for the rest of your infrastructure
  • Accelerate the implementation and success of your CMDB and ensure the integrity of the data
  • View changes made to any Tripwire-monitored device
  • Compare the current state of a system to historical versions and baselines, as well as to similar systems
  • Validate the results of change implementations made through administration tools
  • Report historical change activity to provide a trusted and independent audit trail

Tripwire Enterprise Reports & Dashboards

Realtime, user-tailorable dashboards with user-selected reports and reporting criteria show current change and system status.

Tripwire dashboards can plot metrics, such as periodic change rate by location, enabling managers to identify trends.

The Changed Elements report identifies a wide range of changed properties, including time, type of change (addition, deletion, or modification), user and attributes change, and more.

Change reports with user-defined criteria such as nodes and node groups, time range and severity levels can be published as PDF and HTML, or exported as XML.
