Change and Configuration Management

Let our Professional Services team create a defensible change and configuration framework for you that includes the ability to detect and report on unauthorized and unexpected change - as well as alert you to desired changes (e.g., system upgrades) that didn't happen. A typical engagement includes integrating Tripwire solutions with your workflow and alerting processes to capture and ensure reconciliation of changes. We can also set up integration with third-party tools, including popular EMS's such as Remedy AR System and HP OpenView, to ensure immediate restoration of changed systems to their trusted state.

Includes the following activities and deliverables:

• Initial scoping to identify high level issues and objectives, and identify scoping workshop attendees
• Scoping workshop to determine current state of practice, establish controls strategy, and develop implementation and integration requirements
• Implementation of Tripwire solution to provide configuration auditing for servers and network devices
• Integration with workflow and alerting processes to capture and ensure reconciliation of changes in identified environment
• Establish reporting framework to illustrate reconciliation of changes over time, and create workflow for change verification and "out of band" change detection
• Integration with release
• Knowledge transfer to operations staff, including documentation of policies and procedures, and initiate enforcement
• Aid in establishing environment and process to support required activities
• Establish Change Advisory Board and workflow
