Among the challenges of securing shared infrastructure is the paucity of appropriate engineering talent. Efforts are needed in the present to address the growing knowledge gap we will face in the future.

Join the ICS ISAC in a panel conversation on two mechanisms currently in place to address the workforce challenge Wednesday May 21st 1:00-2:00 pm EDT.

In this session, the ICS ISAC “1NTERRUPT” program – a blue-teaming exercise for high school students – and the Global Industrial Cybersecurity Professional (GICSP) program will be described and discussed by some of the industry leaders responsible for their creation including Marc Blackmer (1NTERRUPT), Tim Conway (SANS) and Michael Assante (SANS).

The ICS-ISAC is a non-profit Knowledge Sharing Center established to help facilities develop situational awareness in support of local, national and international security. At the ICS-ISAC facility operators, integrators, vendors, researchers and the communities they support work together to share the means and methods necessary to maintain safe and stable societies.
