At the RSA Conference, I chatted with Jordan Pollacco of the VMC Group, an experiential marketing firm, about the interactive screen they installed in the Tripwire booth. The screen detects people in front of it when someone the camera sees that someone has interrupted the infrared light. Once the interruption is detected, it causes activity on the screen. In the case of the Tripwire booth, QR codes pop up that the user has to capture with their camera. Once captured, attendees’ are entered to win a prize in the Tripwire booth.
