We recently spent a few minutes talking with Javvad Malik (@J4vv4D) – a Security Analyst at The 451 Group and co-founder of Security B-Sides London, and Dave Lewis (@Gattaca) – a Senior Security Advocate at Akamai, and Board of Directors member at (ISC)2.
We asked Lewis and Malik to share some of their thoughts about the value of large security conferences like Black Hat and Defcon for infosec professionals, and how the explosive growth of more intimate and community oriented events like Security BSides will ultimately impact the experience of attendees.
