We are pleased to announce that Tripwire’s The State of Security has been selected as the “most entertaining security blog” at the annual Security Bloggers Network Awards for 2014.
“The Security Bloggers Network is the largest collection of information security focused blogs and podcasts in the world. Almost 400 blogs and podcasts are included in the SBN’s aggregated feed at their own request,” the organizers said in a press release.
The Security Blogger Awards are announced each year at the Bloggers Meet Up at the RSA Conference.
Nominations are conducted by a panel of security industry judges made up of some of the most successful and influential security journalists in the business, and the winners are determined by a public vote.
What sets the SBA awards apart is that it is an award for security bloggers and podcasters bestowed by fellow bloggers and podcasters.
“It is truly a guild or peer award. Any blog or podcast that is nominated to the finalists represents the best of the best in their category,” the SBN states.
The award comes on the heels of our having taken Best Blog of the Year at the 10th Annual Info Security Global Excellence Awards.
We are extremely grateful to our peers for bestowing this honor upon us, and we will continue to do our best to further develop our publication and provide the best in security news, trends, and insights.
And if you are in San Francisco for the RSA Conference, be sure to join us at Tripwire’s Booth (3501) to get your free customized t-shirt printed on the spot, and listen to an array of in-booth guest speakers we have lined up. For the speaking schedule see more details here.
