Want to make a lot of money really fast? Threaten to sue thousands of people you suspect violating copyrights (not necessarily yours, anybody’s) and hope they’ll be too scared, embarrassed, or financially incapable of retaliating. Such is the revenue generating scheme of the copyright troller.

At the Security B-Sides conference, RSA’s unconference, I spoke with Aaron Jue of the Electronic Frontier Foundation about how they’re combating their current arch-nemesis, copyright trollers.
