Tripwire Enterprise 9.3.1 is now available for download in the Tripwire Customer Center. This is an out-of-band update initiated to address two issues discovered in our recent 9.3 release that we felt should be resolved before the next scheduled release cycle.
We understand how critical it is for our customers to have accurate system information and reliable asset management capabilities, which is why we prioritized these fixes for immediate release. Our engineering team has been working diligently to resolve these issues and provide this out-of-band release.
Resolved Issues
The following issues have been successfully resolved in version 9.3.1:
Model Detection
The previous release incorrectly identified Windows 11 as Windows 10 via the TE Agent nodes. This model detection error could have led to confusion in system inventory, but has been quickly corrected in Tripwire Enterprise 9.3.1 to ensure proper distinction between Windows 10 and 11 systems.
Tag Deletion
An error introduced in Tripwire Enterprise 9.3 caused the unintended deletion of tags, tag sets, and saved filters from Asset View. Any Smart Node Groups left over from incomplete deletion of tags via the TE REST API will be automatically removed upon upgrade of the TE Console and noted in the Log Manager for your reference.
